Bonnie Skrenta

Bonnie Skrenta lives in Ballwin, MO with her wife (Jen), 13-year-old son (Nate), and 9-year-old daughter (Nora).

In 2015 she left the college coaching profession as Head Softball Coach at Bucknell University. Bonnie entered the business industry with Ferguson Enterprise. She currently is a District Trainer with a territory of MO, KS, ND, SD, IA, NE, and MN. Coordinating, conducting, and creating training for over 1700 Associates and 175 Managers. Prior to 3 years coaching at Bucknell University Bonnie was the Head Softball Coach at DePauw University, IN for 10 years.

Bonnie started her undergraduate career at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, where she played varsity basketball and softball, earning NFCA third-team All-Region honors on the diamond. Before her junior year, she transferred to Providence College, where she was a two-year Friars' Division, I team member. Bonnie moved from a 2nd baseman to centerfielder a righty hitter to a lefty slapper.  She graduated cum laude from Providence with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics. I went on to earn a master’s degree in exercise and sports studies from Smith College in 2002.

 

Notable Honors in Coaching include:

5 straight NCAA Regional Tournament appearances from 2007-2011.

3 Division III World Series in 2007, 2010, 2011

3 NFCA Central Region Coach of the Year

1 Patriot League Coach of the Year, 3 straight Patriot League Tournament Appearances

 

Notable coaching notes.

DePauw made five straight NCAA Regional Tournament appearances from 2007-11, and the Tigers advanced to the Division III College World Series in 2007, 2010, and 2011. The 2008 squad was ranked No. 1 in the nation at one point late in the season and produced a 37-game winning streak.

Skrenta, who was a three-time NFCA Central Region Coach of the Year, mentored three All-Americans, one Honda Division III Athlete of the Year finalist, 27 all-region players, 36 all-conference selections, and four conference players of the year in her time at DePauw. In addition, each of her last six teams posted a combined grade-point average of at least 3.32. In her time at DePauw, Skrenta served as a part-time faculty member in the department of kinesiology, where she taught classes in aerobic conditioning and free weights. She was also a member of the school's Eating Disorder Interdisciplinary Task Force and was an advisor to the Peer Mentor Leadership Program. Beyond her coaching and teaching duties, Skrenta served as a member of the NCAA Central Region Ranking Committee and All-Region Committee. She sat on the NFCA All-America Committee in 2011 and was a member of the NCAA Championship Committee in 2012.

Conner Cutright

Conner Cutright

Conner is from Casey, Illinois and attended Casey-Westfield High School where she played varsity softball and basketball for 4 years. During her time at Casey, Conner was an all-conference softball player all four years and an all-state member her senior year. She also played travel softball for Premier Fastpitch Paulson out of Mattoon, Illinois for 5 years. 

 After graduating high school, she continued her softball career as an outfielder at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2017-2020. During her junior season, Conner posted the top batting average (.368) and second spot for on-base percentage (.448). 

 Conner currently attends Logan University where she will graduate in December of 2023 with her Doctorate of Chiropractic. She also is the Assistant Varsity Women’s Lacrosse coach at Kirkwood High School. Conner was also recently inducted into the Casey hall of honors for her softball career
